With less than a couple of weeks to go until the new Seller's Disclosure rollout, right now is the perfect time to be making sure you are ready for these changes.
If you haven't got a process or thought about how you're going to tackle these new changes, the time is right NOW!
If you have your existing listings fully signed by all parties before the 1st of August, 2025, you're all good to go; because come 1st of August, 2025, all property contracts will require a compliant Form 2 Seller's Disclosure with prescribed certificates.
So if you don't think you'll have that contract fully signed up in time, right now you need to be advising your vendors - they need to obtain a Seller's Disclosure statement.
Remember, without the compliant pack, you cannot sell the property, unless you want to give the buyer a continuing right to terminate. Yes, even if the property's "unconditional" or sold at auction.
